Today I took Dawson to some of the best places we visited yesterday. We drove out to Cathedral Pines on the island and saw some incredibly beautiful and quite old tress. Many of the trees we saw were over 700 years old. Everything was covered in moss and even the dead stumps of old trees were growing new trees. Many of the trees had fallen down due to high winds and shallow roots, it looked like a fairytale forest! The big tree Dawson and I are standing infront of is over 800 years old and is taller than the leaning tower of Pisa in Italy!

We made sure to get some awesome pictures of Boss in the forest. He drew alot of attention from everyone there! Phil and I even got our picture taken with Boss by some random tourists!

We then went off to the Goats on a Roof store where we saw, go figure, goats on a roof. The inside shop was actually pretty sweet and we had a good time shopping around and looking at all the weird things in the stores.

Phil skated the rails and I climbed around in the super cool and totally random statue park outside the goat shop. Phil actually got a few tries in before we were "kindly" asked to leave the park.

We made sure to take some good pictures of Boss with some of the stranger statues before we left the area.

We then went to the beach with my family. The beach was covered in little tiny crabs! We dug around in the sand and unearthed a HUGE clam! It was so nasty looking and had a huge "foot"! It was really neat.

We then hung out at the lake close to the house and went kayaking! Dawson and I drug Abby and Caroline out to the middle of the lake and left them out there. Unfortunately I stuck around to taunt them and they ended up flipping my kayak over! Mean little girls! We drove back in Leonard the trunk with very wet girls in the back.

Day 10:
We woke up at the crack of dawn and it the road once more. We caught an early ferry but not before getting gas. We met one of Boss's relatives there!

We got off the ferry and crossed the border back into the USA. Boss was excited to be home!

We went into Seattle and was amazed by the difference in the people. The angst and anger of Seattle was a sharp wake up after the kind and happy Canadians! We made sure to check out some famous buildings and coffee shops though, including the Utilikilt store, the first Starbucks and a random really good coffee shop in Pike Place Market!

Phil made sure to get some good skating in wherever we ended up. It made for some pretty awesome pictures!

We moved on to Portland and stayed with one of Dawson's old friends. He showed us some pretty sweet night views in the city and we walked all over downtown at night to get to Voodoo Doughnuts. There we enjoyed doughnuts with flavors like grape and bubblgum and even a voodoo man shaped one!

Day 11:
We woke up late and headed out to see the city. We took the streetcar and walked over to Powell's books, the biggest bookstore EVER! I could spend weeks in there! They had a rare book room that included a 1st edition Harry Potter book for $1200! Crazy! Portland in general was a crazy city! It was really fun to visit and hang out with Cole!

Phil took the opportunity to hit some sweet rails. We visited an apparently famous skatepark under the Burnside bridge. It was packed and really cool looking!

We left Portland and went to pick up Timmy in Sandy. It was a fun reunion and we acquired a fifth circler! We almost got a sixth when Tim's little brother tried to drive the truck away, but he was convinced to stay.

We took off on an impromptu visit to Dawson's sister-in-law's sister and her husband out in Bend, Oregon. They fed us a wonderful meal and Annie made us some pretty amazing cupcakes!

We're staying tonight there before hitting the road once more tomorrow morning.
